Welcome to Jan Bach Kristensen Photography!

My name is Jan and I live in Copenhagen, Denmark, where I'm a research scientist and freelance photographer. Since I got my first ´real´ camera 15 years ago I have enjoyed capturing light, moments and perspectives. In recent years and with the advent of digital SLRs my interest in photography has increased dramatically. In particular, I love combining my passion for photography with my two other passions; flyfishing and travelling. For that reason most of my photography takes place outdoors.

My photos and writings have been published in a number of magazines and catalogs around the world.
